Liz Eustace -- Executive Director

Liz Eustace was raised in Toronto and has recently returned to her hometown after living in Manhattan for over a decade. While in New York City, Liz received an award of recognition from former Mayor Michael Bloomberg for her work bringing health and wellness into under serviced areas of New York - specifically within the Jackie Robinson Centre in Harlem. She was also one of the original founders in Out of the Cold, and received the Light Spirit Award from the City of Toronto in 2002 for her work with the homeless.

Craig Smeaton -- President

Sister Susan inspired Craig to volunteer at Out of the Cold shortly after the doors first opened back in 1987. Two years later, he was recognized with the Canada Day Award for Excellence for his continued commitment to the homeless during his time at St. Michael’s College School. In 2002, he received the Kindly Light Award from the City of Toronto along with the other original student founders. Craig works in media and lives in Toronto with his wife and two children. He is proud to be back supporting the Out of the Cold community.

Adrienne Scott -- Treasurer

Adrienne spent the last 20 years in the Ontario Public Service with a focus on policy and communications. Throughout this time she worked on several key government priorities including clean drinking water, corrections reform and pension policy. Adrienne recently joined the Canadian Red Cross to support their work in policy and government relations, promoting a key public health initiative. She has an undergraduate degree in English Literature and an MBA with a corporate finance specialization.

Megan McCoy -- Board Secretary

Megan was introduced to the Out of the Cold community by the incomparable and inspiring Sister Susan and she is proud to serve the foundation as board secretary. Megan has worked in television for over 20 years, producing shows for multiple networks including HBO Max, Discovery, HGTV, Food Network and TVO. Megan lives in Toronto with her husband and two kids.

Chris Zownir -- Director of Fundraising and Community Outreach

Chris Zownir was invited by Sister Susan to join the student volunteers of the original Out of The Cold program in 1987 while he was a grade 9 student at St. Michael's College School. Chris was the president of the Out of The Cold student group at St Michael's in 1991 and 1992 and continued as a volunteer at the Holy Rosary location until 2009. In 2002, Chris was one of the recipients of the Kindly Light Award from the City of Toronto along with the original student founders of the Out of The Cold program. In 2005, Chris helped Sister Susan launch the Out of the Cold Foundation as a vehicle for additional funding to the growing locations across the GTA. Chris lives in Toronto with his wife and son and is extremely proud to help carry on the legacy of community outreach created by Sister Susan.

Enzo Sallese -- Board Member

Enzo was inspired by the leadership and enthusiasm of his fellow classmates, Patrick Dunn and Christopher Foy, the original student founders, and helped them start the first Out of the Cold in 1987. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Toronto, and his law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School. Enzo is a regular volunteer in various outreach programs in Toronto, including Lawyers Feed the Hungry, and honored to join the board of directors for the foundation.
